The basic idea of the game is to let you experience living life from the ages of 5 to 40
in about 10 minutes!
After you start the game you’ll need to create your character by entering your name
and choosing wether you’ll play as a boy or girl
After that, you’ll get to change how you look. You can just play around
with all the buttons on this screen to see all the different types of hairstyles
and hats and glasses and beards and…
Once you click the OK button, you’ll be taken to the level screen. If this is the first time
you’ve played the game, you’ll see that only level 1 is unlocked (there are 12 levels).
To start the level, just click on the button.
Each level starts by off showing you the awards that you will need to win to finish the level.
For level 1 you will need to ‘make a friend’ and ‘recharge your energy’. To close the
screen just click the ‘x’ button.
The next screen you see is the main game screen. This is where you will live
your life. Each level starts you off at the age of 5. At the top left of the screen you
will see two bars: one for energy and one for social. If you let these bars get too low,
your game will be over! If you run out of energy, you will die from exhaustion.
If you run out of social, you will die from loneliness.
So lets ‘recharge your energy’ by clicking on the energy button
at the bottom left of the screen.
You’ll get to watch a snazzy little animation which will be followed by your energy
level going up. You’ll also see that you just won your first award! Nice job!
You’ll notice that your social bar has dipped a little bit. Let’s get that
bar up by making a new friend. Click on the friends icon.
This will bring up a list of all the people that you can make friends with.
If you’re a boy, try and be friends with Brilliant Bob, and if you’re a girl, go with Athletic Ava.
Do this by clicking on the button to the right of the person.
If all goes well, you’ll have just made your first friend and finished level 1!
At the end of each level, you’ll get to see what people thought of you.
Each level starts you off completely fresh. That means when you start level 2,
you’ll be 5 all over again!
The later levels get much more involved and far more interesting.
For example, here’s a list of the awards you can win to finish level 6:
- have a baby
- stock market profit
- tickle a friend
- go to school
- score a goal
- buy 2 house items
